Steel Lagoon

Steel Lagoon

This is one of my favorite pieces. It exists as place in my mind and I have traveled there often.

I took the inspiration from three sources. First is the coastline of Monterey, California. Next are the hills of San Jose that one flies over when approaching from the east. Add the sensual photography of Karin Rosenthal who positions her nude models lying in water ponds, partially submerged.

I have mentally run along the ridge line and spent time at the water's edge. The color is soothing and alive. The wind is but just a whisper.

It is a very special place and the full size version is available in a limited edition.

Number 2 of 10 Limited Edition, 36 inch print, is available.
