Stonehenge Moment

Stonehenge Moment

Have you ever visited a place and found something so unusual that it changed the way you look at everything else? 1970 outside London with a bunch of my college classmates, we found such a thing.

The Druids, Astronomy, Seasons and Time. These were the elements that allowed stones to be moved great distances and arranged for purposes we can only guess.

I stood there in the snow, and imagined what it must have been like to have the moment arrive. The moment when all the effort to build Stonehenge culminated in... something happening.

This image is my way of expressing that moment. When our efforts are rewarded with a bolt from the blue. A purple lance of white hot reality. It says Yes!
