Storm Front

Storm Front

Storm Front is one of the calmest paintings I've done. It show a representative "storm front" approaching in an almost placid sea. All around is calmness and reflection. Yet the storm churns on, oblivious to that which surrounds it.

Life can be this way. What seems like a never ending downpour of trouble can end with a word or the short passage of time. We can weather the storms if we know they are not endless.

The painting was created by texture mapping one of my sunset photographs onto a rectangle I modeled in 3D. The reflections in the water - and the wave pattern there - make the image work. It is simply a place for your mind to spend a moment or more.

Print number 5 of 10 in the limited edition 36 inch prints is available.
